A 4x4 journey through volcanoes, salt flats, high-altitude plateaux and geological landscapes in the Argentine Puna.
Overview
The Argentine Puna offers a way of travelling in which the journey itself becomes an essential part of the experience. High-altitude tracks, vast salt flats, volcanoes and immense open spaces shape a 4x4 route through one of north-west Argentina’s most distinctive landscapes. The experience includes places such as Antofagasta de la Sierra, Campo de Piedra Pómez (Pumice Stone Field) and Salar de Antofalla (Antofalla Salt Flat), combining landscape, geology and traces of ancient Andean cultures.
