When is the best time to visit Jujuy and Salta?
The program can be done year-round. April to November generally offers the most stable conditions and clear skies across the Quebrada, the Puna, and the Calchaquí Valleys.
Are the excursions to Hornocal and Salinas Grandes physically demanding?
Both reach altitudes above 4,000 meters. The itinerary is designed progressively to allow acclimatization. Good hydration is recommended throughout.
Does the program include domestic flights?
No. Domestic flights — including Buenos Aires to Jujuy and Salta to Buenos Aires — are not included and must be arranged separately.
Are guides bilingual?
Yes. Guides are bilingual in Spanish and English on all excursions.
Is the Solar Train included in the program?
Yes. The Solar Train ride through the Quebrada de Humahuaca — a hop-on hop-off service powered entirely by solar energy — is included.
